Aktualizace systému na verzi Android OS 2.3 Gingerbread by měl podle HTC přijít 16.5.. Update se týká nebrandovaných telefonů, čili telefonů z volného prodeje. HTC dále prozradilo, že spolupracuje i s operátory, aby se i brandované telefony brzy dočkaly aktualizace na verzi 2.3.
Vyjádření HTC:
“We’ve been pushing this really hard and are pleased to announce that we are aiming to have the HTC Gingerbread update for unlocked HTC Desire HD and HTC Incredible S models available on 16th May 2011.
